At Kiese, accessible from https://kiesetechnologies.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Kiese and how we use it. If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us. This Privacy Policy applies to visitors and users of our Website and Services with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Kiese. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than Kiese’s Website and Services.

Information We Collect

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

Log Files

Kiese follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies

Like any other website, Kiese uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Advertising Partners Privacy Policies

You may consult this list to find the Privacy Policy for each of the advertising partners of Kiese. Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Kiese, which are sent directly to users’ browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note that Kiese has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Third Party Privacy Policies

Kiese’ Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:

Why do we collect your data? 

We collect data about you to provide you with products and services through the Kiese Technologies Platform. For example, when you login and fill out opportunity information, we store that information so that you can use it for your business development purposes. 

If you fill out the contact form via the Kiese website, we store your information so that we can follow up with your request.  

How do we use the information we collect? 

We use data about your visit to the Kiese website to deliver meaningful, contextual, and time-saving experiences that benefit you. For example, when you enter data in one form that can be used in other forms, we automatically populate this data into all forms for your convenience and ease. When we collect data about what kind of device you are using, which browser, what OS you are using, or which pages you visit on the platform; we use these data for analytics and to diagnose any Customer Service issues you may have. 

The data that we collect via the Kiese platform is specific for your own use.  

How is this information shared? 

Currently, this information is shared only between you and the Kiese Technologies Platform when you are using the Kiese platform, and between you and the Kiese team for information shared via our website.  

Additionally, we do have third-party analytics tools that gather data about your Kiese website experience; we use information about your Kiese website experience to support you, such as setting up a demo. 

How do you protect and secure my data? 

 

  • We use AWS to provide a secure and reliable cloud environment for our software. 
  • We restrict network access is restricted on an as-needed basis. 
  • We isolate client database on the Kiese platform. 
  • All network communication in the Kiese platform occurs over secure SSL/TLS. 
  • We do not store your passwords in plain text. 
  • Employees are required to change passwords every 90 days. 
  • We utilize MFA for maximum security 
  • All data at rest is encrypted using industry best practices with AES-256. 
  • We perform server-side logging of all interactions with our services for security and E&O purposes. 
  • We log all activities and actions through our API’s 

When and how do you destroy data? 

Media disposal is handled in accordance with NIST guidelines in special publication 800-88 at user request 

International / US Data Consent 

By working with the Kiese Platform, your data is subject to US jurisdiction and all applicable laws. One specific law, the US Patriot ACT, gives the US government the ability to request metadata and personal data but only if there is reasonable suspicion that is based on specific facts. By consenting to use the Kiese Platform, you understand that your personal data could be queried by the US Government if there is reasonable suspicion of any nature of the violation(s).   

What if I don’t want to give consent? 

You will not be able to use the Kiese Business Development Platform. If you don’t feel comfortable having any of your data on the Platform just decline this consent form and we will not set up a Kiese platform account for you.  

How can I access all of the data about me that you store? 

You can gain access to your information either by logging into the Platform or by letting us know you’d like access to your information via mail@kiesetechnologies.com.   

What if I want to file a complaint? 

If you would like to file a complaint, please email our Privacy Officer and include all relevant details. Our Privacy Officer will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and reply to your complaint within 30 days. You also have the right to complain directly to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada about any alleged breaches of the law. 

What is the expected response time if I file a complaint? 

If you submit a complaint to Kiese Technologies our Privacy Officer will respond back to you within 30 days.
